NEW ALBUM’S PREMIERE AT JAZZ SAN JAVIER

Mauri’s third album, Groove Words is about to see the light with a bunch of surprise.

The production, carried out by Mauri in collaboration with Dean Brown and mix by grammy winner Bassy Bob has guests as Randy Brecker, Chuck Loeb, Keith Anderson, Reggie Washington, Kepa Junkera, Sole Giménez and the usual collaboration of friend Javier Vargas.

What’s most important…, for the first time Mauri started writing lyrics. The new album includes 6 sun tracks featuring magnificent american singers such as Deveron Patterson, Roy Young o Keysha.

On June, 27th, the Mauri Sanchis Super Band will officially present Groove Words in the international festival Jazz San Javier which again brings up an amazing lineup including Joe Sample & Randy Crawford, John Fogerty, Ron Carter and a long list of stars that confirms the festival as one of Spain’s top and Mauri as one of Spain’s artists with greater presence on festivals as important as this one. The festival’s organization has announced the concert as “Mauri is one of the best organists, if not the best, of Europe’s jazz fussion scenario”.
