PREMIERE OF MORE VIBES!!! Live at Jazz San Javier
The presentation of the XI festival Jazz San Javier featured Mauri with the premiere of his first live DVD, More Vibes!!! Live at Jazz San Javier.
The press conference was lead by San Javier’s mayor, Pepa García, alcaldesa de San Javier, who proudly said “I hope this dvd will join Mauri’s career with this festival foerever“. Also, Alberto Nieto, director of Jazz San Javier presented Mauri as “Spain’s best organist and one of the best in Europe”
The press reported later, “More Vibes!!! is the recording of a first-class concert that will act as a speaker for the festival”. Andrés Garrido (Radio 3) remarked “Mauri Sanchis is, with no doubt at all, the spanish organist with greater international projection. Not meaning to diminish others but Sanchis has that “divine grace” that touch only those chosen”.
THE DVD
On June, 30th, 2007, included in the X Jazz San Javier International Festival together with stars such as George Benson, Al Jarreau, Marcus Miller, Wynton Marsalis, etc…the Mauri Sanchis Band offered a concert that shocked both press and public.

The DVD More Vibes!!! Live at Jazz San Javier features such concert as well as additional material like a Jam Session with Popa Chubby y Javier Vargas, a post-concert live interview for Radio3 and a beautiful photo gallery.
The Mauri Sanchis Band, winner of the AJH 2007 for best live act, will tour Spain and abroad including one of the world’s most important festival, Pori Jazz (Finland), sharing lineup with Santana, Chick Corea, Tower of Power, R. Brecker, etc…
